Ghana Relocation Strategy Session
Stop wondering how to move to Ghana. Start building a plan.
A personalised 2-hour strategy session for anyone exploring, planning or preparing for a move to Ghana.
You know you want to explore Ghana. But where do you start?
- Where should you live?
- Should you rent or build?
- How much should you prepare financially?
- How will you support yourself?
- What needs to happen before you leave?
- And what happens once you arrive?
Your Move Deserves More Than Guesswork.
Relocation is more than booking a flight. It’s the entire transition from where you are now to establishing a sustainable life in Ghana.
Absolutely. And You Should.
There is more information about Ghana available online than ever before. You can watch YouTube, search Google, join Facebook groups, read articles, ask people who have already moved, or use AI. And you should, all of it is genuinely useful.
But information isn’t the same as a plan.
A person can spend 100 hours researching Ghana and still not know where they should live, which options suit their circumstances, what they need to decide, what needs to happen first, what information actually applies to them, or what risks they haven’t considered.
We’re not selling you information. We’re helping you make sense of it.
- Connecting the dots
- Identifying the gaps
- Prioritising the decisions
- Building the sequence
- Identifying risks
- Creating next steps

We’ve Lived The Relocation Journey Too.
In April 2023, we moved to Ghana as a family of four. My wife, our two children and I arrived because of a job opportunity. When that opportunity fell through, we found ourselves in Ghana having to figure things out for ourselves. There was no perfect roadmap waiting for us. We had to learn by doing.
We explored Accra and the Eastern Region while trying to determine where, and even whether, we should build our future in Ghana. Then we were invited to visit the Volta Region. We came to explore. We ended up finding home.
Today, Volta is our base. We’ve bought a farm, built relationships within the community and are developing a long-term vision for what life in Ghana can look like for members of the African diaspora and international community.
Along the way, we’ve dealt with many of the practical realities of establishing ourselves in Ghana, including visas and immigration, the Ghana Card, business setup, adapting to local life, understanding local systems, learning about local people and communities, exploring different regions, and establishing ourselves outside the environment we originally knew.
We’ve lived the journey, learned from the mistakes, and are building systems to help others navigate it with greater clarity.
We made the mistakes so you don’t have to make all of them.
Ubuntu Living Africa emerged from the relocation experience. Our mission is to help people arrive better prepared, make better decisions and shorten the learning curve involved in establishing a new life in Ghana.
Ghana isn’t perfect, and we won’t sell you a fantasy. Our approach is honest, experienced, optimistic and realistic.
From Relocation To Establishment
Successful relocation isn’t simply arriving. The bigger questions come after: where will you live, how will you earn, how will you build relationships, how will you navigate systems, where will you establish yourself, what will your first 90 days look like, and how will you build a sustainable life?
The real question isn’t simply how to get to Ghana. It’s how to build a life once you arrive.
Wherever You Are In Your Thinking
The session is intentionally open to anyone willing to invest in clarity, there’s no aggressive qualification wall.
